Take Advantage of Early Bird Membership Registration

Early re-registering the girls and adults in your troop is a great way to gear up your troop for the upcoming Girl Scout year. It’s a simple, easy process that can be done now instead of worrying about it during the busy back-to-school time in the fall.

We have two different options you may utilize in order to register your troop for the upcoming membership year. You may take advantage of our eRegistration system or you may complete and print a hard copy of the registration forms and turn them in to your local GSCI office.

What You Should Know About Early Registration

If your troop completes and turns in . . .

  • Troop Volunteer Performance Review
  • Troop registration forms
  • Copies of most the recent troop bank statement

your troop will receive a free patch for each registered girl and adult, and a $12 GSCI gift certificate that can be used to purchase items in the Trefoil Boutique, register your troop for a program, or pay for an adult membership.

All troops that register early through eRegistration will be entered into a drawing for a PIZZA PARTY. One troop per service center will win a party. Winners will be drawn on July 17, 2012.

FAQs about Early Bird Registration

I am having problems with e-registration; whom can I contact with my questions?
Please contact the eRegistration Helpdesk at 888-623-1237 or helpdesk@girlscouts-gsci.org with all of your eRegistration questions. You may also want to browse our FAQs for eRegistration

What happens if we are waiting for just a few of the girls to complete their registrations?
If you meet the minimum of 5 girls and 2 adults without the outstanding registrations, then turn in the completed forms with the membership dues summary. Other registrations can be turned in at any time (make sure the correct troop number is on the form).  If those additional forms are turned in before the incentive deadlines, they are still eligible for the incentives.

What if I can no longer be the leader of my troop?
Notify your local Membership Specialist that you can no longer lead your troop.  If you know of someone else that would be interested in leading the troop, please share their name and contact information with your Membership Specialist. If another adult cannot be found, encourage your girls to join another troop or to participate as Individually Registered Girl Scouts.
